The 14th International Takaful Summit 2026 – ETHICAL PROTECTION FOR ALL – powered by the Institute of Islamic Banking and Insurance (IIBI) was held in London on 1 and 2 July 2026 bringing together industry leaders, regulators, scholars, practitioners and innovators to discuss the future direction of Takaful and Retakaful.

A Masterclass on was held on 30 June 2025 for invitees only.

Agendas for Masterclass and 14th International Summit

The Summit returned to London after an extended pause following the global pandemic. The programme focused on key themes shaping the next phase of the industry, including Lloyd’s Takaful syndicates, AI, blockchain, IoT, digital transformation, Microtakaful, micro-pensions, Social Waqf, climate resilience and ethical risk-sharing.

The Summit provided an important platform for knowledge-sharing, networking and strategic dialogue on how Takaful can become more scalable, inclusive and socially transformative. It also reaffirmed the continuing role of London as a global centre for innovation, insurance expertise and Islamic financial services.
